Do You Feel Like Your Inner Child Reacts To Certain Situations in Life?
If the answer is yes then these Healing Profiles are for you.
The Psychological Development in the first 12 years of life
(From Early Childhood to Adult)
In the first 12 years of our life we learn the fundamentals of behaviour, and the basics of interaction. And if we are lucky these lessons will lead to self- mastery.
We may have heard others say, or even said it ourselves when we have seen someone acting childishly, Brian is going through his second childhood. It is quite true that there are so many challenges to overcome and to master while growing up. It is no wonder that we may need to return to some to re-do them!
If we understand the process of development that the child is experiencing then we can help their development in a constructive way, as was intended by nature. Then as an adult if we are missing any of those fundamental beginnings in our lives we may feel as if something is missing.
At some point we crave to return to the child state within, hoping to redevelop the quality that was stunted in any given year. We return with the hope and the desire to develop that which remains un-mastered. In any given instance we return to one of the first 12 years.
By understanding the 12 year process we can consciously master what we may be lacking ourselves and we can then consciously guide our children so their lives may be built on rock and not sand.
